Mid Michigan | It all stems from paying people umemployment benefits to stay home and do nothing. If ten percent of the working population is home every day recreating just think what they could accomplish if we had a modern day CCC where men and women getting unemployment had to report to their local town every day and be assigned a job of some sort to keep our areas looking better and rest stops up to snuff. Cleaning up dead animals off the roads. Helping elderly people with home and building maintenence, cleaning up brush and trees around power lines etc. I totally agree about the bathrooms. The only answer we have here in Michigan to any of the problems is to pay people $362 dollars a week to stay home and build another casino. | |
