You guys seem to sure whine a lot. "My corn is done" or "I can smell my corn roasting." WTH? You can't handle a total loss? Maybe its the new "northern" equipment that's costing too much. Just a guess. Our entire State can burn to a crisp (as it did last year) and pretty much NO grains and 20% of a cotton crop were made. Not to mention the loss of feed, cattle, summer grazing, hay for winter feed. We had nothing left. Household water wells were drying up. And, yes, there were complaints. But I've NEVER heard a bunch of grown folks whine and piss and moan like a bunch of kindergartners like some of the folks on here from the "corn belt" do. Its all part of the business we are in. Suck it up, grow a pair and stop crying because you can't have a bumper crop every year. Hey, guess what! Old bins store grain just like new bins do. A $150,000 shop is NOT a necessity!

I'm pretty sure this is a discussion forum...it is okay to talk about the crops, isn't it? You want everyone to pretend like nothing out of the ordinary is happening?
