North of London | But I will bet someone will pay the extra to have a JD gauge.
Looked through the gauges and seems to be quite a selection but what I did not see was one like we use here where it is tapered down narrower at the bottom for more accurate readings when you get small showers.
Mine it is easy to read to .25mm although I mark anything less than .5mm down as a trace.
As the amount gets greater .5mm does not make any difference so it ends up marked only by the mm
Would sure like to see a 50mm rain event right now.
