Subject: RE: Corn pollinating

East central Iowa

Maybe we should put it in perspective.  Corn is a normal crop in Iowa.  You don't have to artificially do anything to grow it.

Iowa spills more corn than most states grow.  You can sell cattle if you run out of feed and water but when corn runs out of water it's gone.

In Iowa people talk about the weather because we have weather.  It's a fundamental element in farming.  People talk about corn because it's the thing you see when you look out the window.  It's everywhere in Iowa.  It's part of the culture.

It's not whining when you talk about an event.  It's discussion.

Whining is; To complain or protest in a childish fashion.  Sort of like somebody chastising people for talking about their real concerns that affect their future.
