Took the family to Hannibal, Mo...................... and that brings me to this question: Is farm machinery allowed to cross the bridge now that the highway is offically I-72? Unless there is another bridge close by there that I'm not aware of it would sure be a pain in the rear to the local guys around there if they can't cross it with farm machinery.[/QUOTE

If you ask Mo from the Ill side the answer is NO. Prohibited for approx 3 miles I think (to the end of interstate status)If you don't ask I don't know. Maybe those in the know just make a run for it. I'm not close enough or have a need for first hand experience but know of an incident where Ill tried to let a tractor cross by calling Mo. Ill had to reroute it through Quincy ie; heavy traffic, narrow roads. NO COMMON SENSE!!

About as smart as fireing a lifeguard when he saved a life because it was "out of his assigned area"

Glad you enjoyed your getaway
