Subject: WAIT A MINUTE!?

Are you trying to tell me that with the huge crop of '07, and all the carry over from '06, there aren't piles of corn at every intersection in every county in the corn belt? This can't be so, we have feedlots in Warden(ElOro Feeders) and Pasco(IBP/whatever) telling us that they can get unit trains full of cheap corn any time they want. From the reports we get here in the PNW, we are led to believe that you have to drive around them to get anywhere? (Whew, that felt good)
Seriously, we are told that there is more than plenty left from '06 and '07. I'm fortunate to live in a corn deficit area, so we'll likely have at least one more good year. With demand increasing faster than yields, one bad area could make for a big jump.
Hope all are well, and have a great '08.
