Maple Leaf (Schneiders) sausages used to be $3.99 for 500 grams; now they're $3.99 for 375 grams. Used to be 16 breakfast sausages in a pack, now there is only 12. Soon a dozen eggs will only have 10 eggs, another metric smoke and mirrors trick.

And shelves will not go empty. China, India... will send replacements.
