NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | That sounds like a fair price if it's in good shape. What kind of shape are the unloading augers? The lower one will wear out first so look under the cart by the inspection hole. If it's getting sharp you should at least replace it or find out how much it will cost to replace it. The upper will last a lot longer then the lower one.I would also crack the drain plug on the gear drive to see if the oil is good & clean or if it is milky from water running into top side of the gear box if the seal isn't good. They have a tendancy to do that. If you do buy it I would drain the gear box anyway & put fresh oil in. It doesn't hold allot but kind but it's kind of slow process to put in. | |
