Subject: Starting our search for a Track replacement for our STX380

East Central Ia
We demoed an MT855B Challenger last fall and liked it a lot.

We are going to consider a Deere as well.

A Quad Track is not an option, the side to side oscilation gives my brothers back fits.

Should we be looking for a Mt B or C series? Pros and Cons?

What about the Deere. We like the new style cabs much better as we have always felt the Deere cabs were behind the times, but those will be very pricey and harder to find. I think our Deere dealer has a 9530T or 9630T traded in that he wants us to look at. We also have another large Deere dealer close by that has several 9460RT's listed but assume these are trades that will be available at a later date.

It will be used for
-tillage, 21' (17 shank) GP Turbo Chisel
-grain cart, Balzer 1250
-maybe planter (DB60 36r20")
-would be nice to run our Case 330TT in the spring over fall chisel plowed ground.
-And would need to be a backup for hauling hog manure, 7300gal Houle
-Tile plow

Our other tractor is an MX305.
