In your opinion did the vertical mixer do at least the same mixing job and in more or less time? also do you have a wet ration or dry? Also a lot of roughage?

Currently I feed a DDG, rolled dry corn and pellet mix in the bunk with free choice roughage in a bale feeder.... either corn stalks, bean straw or grass hay depending on what I have available...

Ive been considering going to a tmr so you know the cattle are getting enough roughage and hopefully using less over the year.... Don't know if a horizontal reel/auger mixer would work good without grinding/chopping the roughage first thats what really draws me to a vertical is not needing to process it first.... do you think that would work?

Sorry for a bunch of questions.... lol!
