Southern Louisiana | I'll second the comments. I am in an area where 2,4-D and dicamba drift are not uncommon, actuually expected. I have followed drift patterns for years on our beans, and have always followed through checking the yield maps. In most all cases phenoxy drift shortened the beans and crinkled them up, but we either never saw a yield reduction or in many cases actually saw a yield increase. I agree with the above posters above that you do need to get some rain though.
Those old school soybean growers that use to put a cap full of 2,4-DB in every tank mix knew what they were doing IMO. | |
