I had that happen in a dry year, beans were canopied in 15" rows. Canopy opened up enough that another flush of weeds got started and by the time beans were harvested they were full of weeds and made 9 bu. less. However this wasn't so much from drift, but the fert company had been spraying dicamba a few loads before they sprayed my beans.
