tennessee | Pete, it all sucks right now. Even ground that still looks "decent" like river bottoms with good topsoil are not gonna make 1/2 a crop in this heat. Things have only one way to go from here for next year--up. At least that's what I keep telling myself. This will be two years in a row for me with very little crop. I had all beans last yr. and didn't get the rain when needed, most made between 15 and 20 bu.. Keep your head up, it's got to get better.................... | |
