If they look at factual reporting sites like the one linked below (Friday nights "rain"), they'll realize that the worst suffering areas got 0.0" & are normally a good supplier of their trading corn stocks. Looks like Cook Co (= Chicago in case you don't live here) & it's adjoining collar counties received the most rain. Probably not big producers any longer anyway. Lots of subdivisions in collar counties, though lots of incompleted subdivisions also. Though Will & Kane Co still have lots of corn fields.
