You asked for my thoughts – so here goes When I think of low line I think of people in the market of selling breeding stock so you can start your own business raising low line. What comes to my mind are ostriches’, emus, llamas. Alpacas, Jerusalem artichokes and chinchillas. Most were sold as seed stock from what I remember. None of these ,asI recall, ever gained a mainstream market. I project the same for low line cattle. They MIGHT gain a market as a specialty. To those of you who raise low lines, I wish you the best.
