Subject: RE: Corn Silage Price, just figure $7 per bu at

New Mexico
70 bu per acre then add 50 to $100 per acre.

7 x 70 = $490 sooo with 50 to $100 on top for forage value, seems like $550 to $600 per acre they chop it and hopefully everyone happy.

say $575 per acre net to You..

Don't cheat yourself on estimated bushels ( even if the buyer has less bu, they're making that up by getting forage tonnage ) .
If it's maybe 80 bu corn, charge fore the 80 etc.

IF your local cash corn market is $7.50 per bu then your corn value in the field is $7.50 per bu etc..

They're low on good feed ( and getting lower daily with eating inventory on hand ) so they'll buy it almost not matter what. MO.
