I have noticed the same thing. The longer season corn takes the heat a lot better than short season corn. Which makes sense. The short season corn has northern influence in the genetics whereas the longer season corn is going to be more adapted to southern climates. But NOTHING takes a full fledged drought.
Are we kidding ourselves........
