A few years ago my Agco dealer told me that I should loosen the slip clutch on my 5212 every spring to make sure it hasn't froze up, guess he knew what he was talking about. I've never done it but I think I may before I cut 3rd crop!
We do that on our mowers after breaking a shaft like that, if the slip clutches slip you wont tear to much up . The slip clutches are always rusted/frozen up every spring when we take them apart. |
