West Central Wisconsin | Have corn borer infestation on my RR only corn. I can't say I've had this problem before, that I'm aware of, but I must
admit I wasn't very familiar with it. Called my crop guy and he told me what it was and after looking determined it was in all of my RR only varieties. I plant RR only on all ground following beans and one field of alfalfa and plant VT3 varieties on all corn on corn. This was his second call this year for corn borer. I left a message with a friend to have him check his fields. I just got off the phone with him and he went out to check his and he also has them. Could it be from the mild winter/early spring?
