tennessee | We are bone dry and extremly hot. Corn is rolled up by 9 am and some is fired up half way up the stalk. Most of it does have an ear on it but it won't amount to anything. Forecast is around 100 degrees next 5 days and that'll just about do it here. Had a nice looking crop 3 weeks ago and I was starting to get excited. If I could have gotten one more decent rain I would have had good corn, but it didn't happen. | |
