Subject: Best way to pump water out of grain pit

South-central Nebraska
I've used buckets when we had less water/cracks to let it in. Now I easily get 50 gallons of water at times. Tried a sump pump, not enough suction for lift of 12 plus feet. Then went to transfer pumps. Had luck for awhile, now two different pumps can't keep suction to finish. I have a spring loaded mesh end to allow myself to fill the suction hose all the way to prime. Maybe just need a new and bigger transfer pump? any ideas of what to use?
