| I am not surprised, Pioneer has been one bright spot in the Dupont portfolio, as far as profits go the last few years. Dupont has suffered with home building down, and the auto
industry going through some slowdown. Pioneer has seen some nice market share increases after a slide, with them being closed
out of the GMO side for several years. Dupont is hoping it will help their Ag. chem. side which needs help, and by adding the name will help.
I don't think much of the idea. Pioneer is a very strong brand name, that means a lot, don't water it down. | |
