Not enough info. What is the GVWR of your truck and the GVWR of your trailer. If you add the two together and are over 26k and you cross state lines, you will need a class A CDL, log book, DOT number, unified carries registration, etc. Each carry about a $200 fine if our friendly Iowa Vehicle Enforcement team catches you. Get pulled over by a baby blue crown vic and you don't have that stuff, just get out your wallet. They love patrolling hwy 20 and 218. I've got a 3/4 ton and a 20k gooseneck to go between Waterloo and Dad's up in Madison and now I really regret buying a trailer with that much capacity.
