| Just a summer intern at a company that makes products for environmental monitoring. I'm just trying to get a handle on how much money farmers are willing to spend on lab testing or perhaps equipment. My research has provided a lot of information on what "should" be done, but I'm curious to know how often -or thoroughly- those techniques are actually applied.
Are farmers willing to spend money testing things like lime, plant tissue, soil, hay, etc. in order to ensure it is of the quality they have paid for, plants are taking up nutrients or moisture content is where it should be and ultimately increase yields? Are there things that need to be checked that don't have solutions right now? | |
