Triplett / Brunswick MO / Brookfield | Your first mistake would be the 26K GVW. The trucks are going to have a light front end, and your gonna put a lot of weight on the front axle. As far as that go's, the rear will be too light as well. A 12K front and 20-23K rear would work pretty well. A 444E is a 7.3L pickup engine, the same is true for the 5.9 cummins. Either of these engines might work, if the truck had the right tranny and gears. A six plus one has a low hole. The six in the truck you're looking at probably does not have a low hole.
I'de be more afraid of an accident waiting to happen, than I would be of a truck that has higher GVW's. |
