EC MN - Hour North of 'The Cities'
My understanding is the NBPT has a chemical reaction to fend off urease enzymes in the soil to prevent it from converting the Urea into N on the soil surface, which would prevent it from volatizing into the air.

Just spoke with the Agrotain Rep (speedy return to my initial call) and for our soil pH we could probably drop the rate of the liquid and reduce the potential risk of gumminess instead of going with the dry form.
