NC IL I80@68 | I (we) keep all the flashers and taillights working , even have them on trailing units , signal ALL TURNS . DOES NO GOOD , can't count the times we have been passed on left when making left turns , probably 95% of the time they go right on by !!! . Even had county deputy pass me a few years back . One of these days I'm going to keep going and see how a 30+ K tractor and 10k ripper come out compared to a car or suv .
I do know though a lot of farmers are neglectfull on lights and so forth as well as using them properly .
Last Sunday there was a bad accident on I-80 and traffic was detoured on Rt 6 by here for a few hours , that would have been real dangerous if there was any farm implement traffic mixed in . Seems to happen a lot lately and it isn't good moving machinery when that happens . So let's keep everything working properly and be safe . | |
