Subject: RE: The year I quit cultivating was the start of much higher yields

Some worked some not, some had pre's.  Almost all of our beans had a pre down but then it didn't rain and it didn't work on about half the ground.  Most of our corn has had 3 passes, Prequal down right ahead or just behind the planter followed by Halex GT and then a pass of 40-48oz of Abundant just before canopy.  So far most of our Corvus held good but last year when we had lots of rain it didn't work so well.  I am almost done spraying beans and I'll be in one field and think either a chemical or tillage made an improvement then get to the next field treated the same way and it didn't work at all there.

I would say that Callisto will still do a good job of killing waterhemp here, in my opinion Callisto was probably the best chemical of the past 20 years but when the residual aspect doesn't hold new waterhemp down it makes for an expensive burndown.

If we had gotten another rain or two our pre's would have worked and most of this wouldn't be a problem.
