SWOH
Personally I'd like to get the call if I drifted, I try really hard not to ding anybody's crop and I want to know about it if I do so I can figure out what I did wrong and also make it right with them if they want compensated. We usually don't call if somebody drifts a little on us unless it's pretty bad, then we'll call and let them know it happened and politely let them know if it becomes a habit we'll have to make a big deal about it. I usually check a week or so after I spray a field to make sure I didn't kill anybody's stuff and if I did, I'll try to call them before they call me.

Everybody is different but I find usually that the neighbor will appreciate the call to let them know, however there are some people that will it take it the wrong way and get bent out of shape that you're making an issue out of something that didn't cause any damage. Make sure they know that you want them to call you if the roles are reversed. If it were me, I'd call and be very polite about it.
