Southcentral WI | I would make the call simply to be a good neighbor. Let him know that it's not a big deal to you, but that it happened. Tell him no need to settle up, just that you'd appreciate a call if it were you to have some drift issues. Be polite and courteous about it, deliver it in this manner, and be sure he understands how much you would appreciate the call if you had drift issues while spraying. Nothing wrong with being a good neighbor, and opening yourself up as well to improve your spraying practices if need be. Again, reiterate that you'd appreciate the call if you had drift issues. May sound like beating a dead horse, but it takes the sting off of being told that he had drift ding your crop. | |
