Subject: RE: Bean Picture-- Whats The Problem & Solution

King City, Mo
I'm in north mo too.

They said wait 10 days - 2 weeks before planting beans after spraying 24d.

I wonder if it's something from the 24d and/or envive being activacted after we finally have been getting some little rains the last two weeks. Probably the first rain since the ground was sprayed?

Envive = flumioxazin(valor) + chlorimuron (Classic) + thifensulfuron (Harmony)

In the Ohio State Ext Weed Guide -

Harmony - applications of thifensulfuron my cause temporary wilting, lefaf yelloing and or groth retardation. These symptoms are most likely to occur when applies during periods of hot and humid weather.

If you somehow have been getting more rain the Valor can cause stunting of soybeans. Darned if you do, danged if you don't.....

I sprayed treflan, metributizion, then sonic after planting. Once we got some rain the metributizion became active again and is taking out the small velvet leaf. The Sonic i think may be working on the small waterhemp that is in the field, probally isn't going to kill it but it's turning the leafs and pissing it off which is probally going to make it harder to kill......
