We had a drought in 1980 and 1988 and have been flooding pretty regularly since 1993 and were especially bad the last 3 years.  I'll take a flood before a drought any day.  At least the pasture and hayland grows in a flood.  We are so dry now the pastures are starting to turn brown and the corn has leaves rolling pretty badly.  Flood me out any day compared to drying out.
