West Michigan | Holland and Grand Haven are a couple of the best fresh water beaches in the world. Silver Lake has sand dunes if you like off roading while the wife sits on the beach (that gets my vote). Will be camping at silver lake in August. Drop the women at the beach and the guys go climb sand dunes with the trucks.
