The threshhold for spraying Japanese Beetle's is 30% defoliation prior to bloom. They say if you look at the ENTIRE field and it looks like 50% is gone, then its actually only 30% and it is time to spray. Syngenta is reccomending Indigo at 4oz for beetle control.
