Rivers, MB
Went to Regina today. I can see why they're getting concerned along the Assiniboine Valley. There is a stretch from Melita up to Yorkton to Swan River along the SK/MB border that is crazy wet and has been getting rains like Christian experienced. Alot of that runs into the Assiniboine. Crossed it tonite and its already near the edge of the banks and most of the water is yet to come I suspect because alot of the rain has been in the last 2 weeks way up stream.

Chris, too bad about the rain. 7" is too much for a month, let alone one day. I think having nice crop and then getting lots of water is worse than not getting it in because of water because the costs have mostly been incurred.

I think after today's 1/2", we're at 7" since April 13th. Thankfully (in hindsight), we came into spring really dry so our soil is just soaking it all up. sure didn't look like a wet and cool year on March 22 when we started fieldwork!
