Most of these Iowa rains are happening in western, and cental Iowa. I-35 and west has gotten way more showers than the eastern half has. They simply fall apart when tracking west to east. Tonight is a perfect way to sum it up. Mason city- clear lake i heard had 1.5 plus inches. and 2 hours S/E of there wont hardly settle the dust. Tough year to get good timely rains!
