How much money are you willing to spend? How much HP do you have? How much dirt do you want to move? If you want the cadillac go with a liebrecht ditcher.... eagles and wolverines work ok if you don't have gumbo or rocky soil. I use a hurricane pull type model 24. It does what i want it to do, takes all of 150 pto hp to run. I can clean ditches and cut new ditches with a 24" wide cut. I set up a lazer mast and use it to cut the bottoms 6-8ft wide then use a 16' heavy box scraper to back slope. If money was no object I'd have a liebrecht ditcher, they move a massive amount of dirt but you'd better have 300 pto hp to make r' dig!
