Kaukauna WI | You have that right, Ray.....this last year we made purchases of corn and beanmeal at 3 different times, 25% each, and left the remaining 25% to chance.
That worked very well for us.
In the fall of 2008, we bought it all at once in Oct and overpaid by at least a buck all year.
In the fall of 2009, we bought it as we used it and that worked well.
In the fall of 2010, we bought it all at once in Oct and it worked very well.
But I do like the concept of spreading the timing around. Base hits and doubles. | |
