SC Iowa | Bingo on the old crop corn.....
Remaining corn supply heavily weighted to farmer ownership vs. commercials........so, it's held by thousands and thousands of folks who have anywhere from 2,000 to 100,000 apiece.....
I just had two interesting calls in last hour....
one from a guy we do lots of biz with.....said he has 70k left.....asked him what he was thinking....was the motivator basis, cash, price, what???
could not really give me an answer
then another guy we haven't done biz with for 10+ years called and said he had 75k....went through the same line of questioning....and got the same answer.....
I have to chuckle when folks tell me there is no corn in the country........yep, it's tight and not plentiful...but it's there....
