Strathcona, mn | I had germination issues with one of dekalb varieties. The Nk seed seeded the very next day was near perfect, but the dekalb variety had some issues. Most of the seed eventually germed but the emergence was scattered. Thought we ended up seeding into dry dirt but when checked seed was sitting in moist soil..... asked the seed person and was told it is what it is..... laugh on me I guess. Glad I paid extra for the triple stack that doesn't emerge, worth the extra pennies for sure! PS same varity nontriple stacked had much better germ and emergence. | |
