Subject: and July 08 CBOT wheat

Central IL
Nearby contracts close limit up and July 08 finally punches through $7.00. Decided a while back I'd sit on my hands to see if the local bid could break out of the $5.90-$6.27 range it had been stuck in. $6.45 off the combine sounds good right now if it makes a crop next June. How much is left in it? Are the REAL wheat states (not IL obviously) going to be in trouble with 08 crop? Other parts of the world? Best wheat I sold 2 years ago was $4.02.

Local '08 bid for corn hasn't broken $4 enough to tempt me yet.

Cash beans are getting close to prying more of the remainders out of my hands in the $10.50 neighborhood.
