Galahad, Alberta | Ahhh Rich, you do have a nice turn of phrase! Mother Nature is probably backed into a corner as I type. Must be nice to be able to somewhat predict weather trends. Such as "dry in the SE usually leads to a dryer cornbelt." I get PO'd when a forecaster tries to go further out than 10 minutes. Most of ours couldn't predict daylight at high noon. I've learned that I can't out guess Ma Nature, so I just seed a bit of everything. As one old guy around here says, "I've never lost a crop in winter."
