| Itchy, I think what Ray means is the basis has had to do the work up until now due to a perceived disconnect between Chicago and field conditions. Once the boys in Chicago realize the extent of the problem, the board will do all the heavy lifting and the big grain companies let the basis slide.
So set your basis now and then let the board rise until you get the price you want.
