North Central Illinois | Excellent posts Ray. Thanks for some common sense perspective on this thing. Yes, he is starting to sound really silly. This is going to be a historic drought, then we have a wet fall and can't get the poor crops out, and then the locusts and other plagues show up, etc. It never ends. Heck yea this drought could end up being a whopper but he doesn't know anymore what the weather is going to do than you or I. He has what I am starting to think may be a pretty large position and he is talking it. He may very well make out like a bandit on it too but you can't leave yourself totally unprotected on the 8th of June because you think it will never rain again. I hope he is wrong and it rains but in a way I kind of hope he is right because if he isn't there are a LOT of his followers on this board that are going to lose their shirts. He has been right for the past couple of weeks and I have been wrong. I felt strongly that we would see a pattern change and get some rain in key areas. That just hasn't been the case. The places that got rain are needing another one pretty soon and others are hurting pretty bad. At least for now the hot temps have subsided but its a pretty safe bet that it will be hot in July and August!! Hopefully we can get some rain before then. I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. Please post more often Ray. We could use more input like yours around here. Oh, and 7/06! Whatever the hell that means. | |
