You may want to consider getting basis established on old crop corn......the industry has just gone through one of the quietest 5-7 day stretches of (lack of) farmer selling I can remember....
if this corn futures market takes off to the upside, you will start to see more old crop selling.....and very likely some basis eroison, especially on the front end of the market.....
