Kansas
Your not going to see dust bowl of the 30's again even if a few get thier way and crp gets turned loose.

With no till practice, windbreaks, minimum till, all the conservation practice that is at our use currently and being used, It will never be like it was in the 30's.

I'm not saying there won't be dirt storms of some extent, what I am saying is it will not be the extreme it was in the 30s. Bank on it.

You want a forecaster to tell you what next years weather is like? Get a monkey and a dart board. He's as accurate and as intelligent as long range forecasters.

If you want a better method, watch what the neighbor region to your west is going through.

and bob, yes, after 7 years of drought end on end on end, I am mighty damn touchy when someone starts bellaring drought and they don't give a region, a reason other than "it's high time".

I think it's "high time" I won the lottery.........I can't see that increasing my chances.

Like I was to know you were meaning the midwest. Buddy, you can't compete with Kansas for HRW wheat. We didnt' get called the wheat state for nothing.
