Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
What you need is a "Dragon Filter". I have no idea if that is what they call them elsewhere, but it is what we use here. Basically it is a 10' long piece of about 18" pipe. A stainless steel mesh screen about 12" in diameter is inside, the water comes in one end of it, and has to pass through the mesh to get into the larger piece, which feed the manifold out to the pivot. One end has a valve you can open to flush it out. You can put them at the pump or pivot point. Standard size 10' long one will handle about 1000-1500 gpm, but we tie 3 or four together if you need more water. Last one I bought was a few years ago, about $1000.

Seems it would be a lot easier to me to filter the water out than try and deal with crap after it is already in the pivot. Other thing I've seen done here with wells that pump a lot of sand is to dig a pond, dump the water into the pond and then use a centrifugal booster to run the pivot.

I found a picture of what I'm talking about, not great but you get an idea.
