We have used both AI and flat fan and seem to have better luck with the flat fan. We are going with 15 gal of water and drift/mist is a concern in windy conditions. As stated above, control of target weeds is good even in windy conditions but drift to susceptible crops is always a problem with flat fan. When wind and susceptible crops are involved we will switch to the AI.
