I really like the mega-wide. Not mentioned yet is the stuffer mechanism behind the pickup. Allows one to bale nearly anything such as short dry hay or slippery straw that tend to pile up and not feed behind a regular pickup. In 12000 bales I have had no trouble with the pickup, haven't even changed a tooth, though I note there are a couple needing it for this season. As I bale mostly alfalfa which is easy to pick. I do not run it touching the ground.
