Guymon, OK | Ha! Nice My senior class went to Disney World and some buddies and I went through Epcot. I can't remember exactly what the attraction was, but it was basically a guided tour of a greenhouse. Long story short, they were growing amaranth for grain and tour guide talked about what a wonderful plant it is. I didn't think she would know anything about weed control in grain amaranth, so I didn't ask.
A few years later, in college, a professor brought some amaranth flakes to class when we were talking about alternative crops. They weren't half bad. | |
